Michael Maki, AA, ADC-T

Michael has worked in the field since 2012 with experience at River Ridge Treatment Center, Mapletree Group Home, Pride Institute and Valhalla Place.  Michael obtained his Associate’s degree in Addiction Counseling and anticipates graduating in 2018 with his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Technology in Human Services.  Michael has experience working with a myriad of client populations including members of the LGBT and Native American communities.  Michael is passionate about working toward justice through serving undeserved populations.  In his free time, Michael volunteers at the Aliveness Project and enjoys theater and both improv and stand-up comedy
