Ashley Burkhardsmeier, MA, LADC

Ashley attended St. Mary’s University where she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services and Addiction Studies. Ashley first came to Park Avenue as an intern and joined our team as a Co-occurring Counselor upon earning her LADC. Prior to Park Avenue, Ashley worked in the Social Services field for over 15 years and has experience working with refuge and asylee populations, provided mental health crisis stabilization, and was a case manager and educator for survivors of human trafficking. She was awarded “Street Person of the Year’ by the St. Paul Coalition for the Homeless in 2012 for her efforts. Ashley was inspired to work in the field because of her professional and personal experience working with mental health and addiction issues and is passionate about working with individuals to process and support them through their struggles.
