Kayla Schorzmann, RN, BSN

Kayla is a Registered Nurse overseeing the Chemical Dependency Tech / Medication Observation team. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, and went on to attend American Sentinel University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Before coming to Park Avenue Center, Kayla worked in the substance abuse field as the Nursing Supervisor of an outpatient treatment center. She enjoys being a support and resource for individuals in all stages of recovery, as they regain hope for the future and feel empowered to improve their quality of life. In addition, Kayla is passionate about ongoing personal and professional development, which she leverages into her role to become an approachable, trusting, and effective leader for her team. In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending summer days on the lake with her family, baking tasty treats, and challenging herself with high-intensity interval training workouts.
