Paul Winchester, MS, LADC

Paul Winchester attended Grand Canyon University where he received his LADC licensure and began working in the field in January of 2018. Previously Paul was an intern, Group Facilitator, part of the Intake team, and Counselor with Park Avenue; he also has experience working at the State of Minnesota University as a Graduate Assistant for 2 years. While working at Park Avenue Paul has gained experience working with young adults, as well as older adults, both men and women and people that are a part of LBGTQ, various ethnicities and races and people that have experiences with the criminal justice system. Paul is a great listener who has expectational communication skills and is reliable. His professional goals are to have the ability to grow within the counseling field. He is inspired to work in this field because he wants to support people with substance use concerns and be a part of their changing transformation. Paul has the ability to adapt to many different situations when it calls for it and has the ability to perform many different roles. He is very eager to learn and he is passionate about helping others to transform their lives and helping to address their concerns as well.
